We meet you in arrivals with a name board, load the bags and drive you door to door. York is about 1 hour 45; Helmsley and the North York Moors about 2 hours; the Dales villages 1 hour 30 to 2 hours 30. The fixed fare to York is £195 for up to 8 people. The train needs a change in Manchester and a taxi at the other end.
Yes. That is what the day tours are for. Public transport reaches York and Whitby but not Goathland, Rievaulx, Aysgarth or Castle Howard in one day. We collect you from your hotel and bring you back.
Goathland, on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, stood in for Hogsmeade station. Our Steam to Whitby day puts you on the train at Pickering, through Goathland to Whitby, and we meet you on the platform. The road-only Moors, Whitby and the Coast day stops at Goathland station instead.
